First of all, the Npower support team is on the process to announce 2017 Npower TAX/VAIDS shortlisted Candidates via N-power portal. Be informed that the 2017 Npower TAX/VAIDS Pre – selection and screening process is ongoing.
2017 Npower TAX/VAIDS Shortlisted
My people, we want to use this medium, to let all N-power TAX/VAIDS candidates who successfully submitted their N-power application online during the recruitment exercise and took their N-power TAX/VAIDS assessment test successful of the current updates.
In the light of this, the update is that the 2017/2018 pre-selection exercise of Npower TAX/VAIDS successful applicant has started across the country. Meanwhile, it is reported that a minimum of seven thousand, five hundred (7,500) applicants will be selected to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to voluntarily declare their correct income and assets.
As a matter of fact, evry 2017 Npower TAX/VAIDS shortlisted candidates must know that the Voluntary Asset and Income Declaration Scheme (VAIDS) and their Responsibilities as N-power VAIDS.
Generally speaking, the Federal Government of Nigeria in its efforts to dramatically eradicate unemployment among the Nigerian youths across the 36 states of the federation through the N-power Scheme; has also put more effort to encourage non-compliant and partially compliant taxpayers to voluntarily declare their correct income and assets.
The program for N-power VAIDS is slated for 1 year
The 2017 Npower TAX/VAIDS shortlisted candidates will undergoes a training after which they will be assisting and working with the Federal Ministry of Finance and the Joint Tax Board.
Those 7,500 qualified N-Tax Volunteers will be responsible of:
- Tax promotion across the 36 State of Federation
- Document review,
- Record Keeping
- Answering online inquiries
- Customer management,
- Report writing
Ordinarily, with the above responsibilities, N-Tax Volunteers will function as community tax liaison officers of which their function will last up to 1 year.
Note: Those who take their duties serious will be retain for more years and might be offer Job opportunities according to N-power Support Team.

- Academic Verification
- Personal Account Verification (Bank Account details)
- BVN Verification etc
- All N-Tax Volunteers must possess the following as academic qualification
- Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in the following fields
- Accounting
- Economics
- Law, Business
- Administration,
- Banking &Finance
- Social sciences
