WHAT IS A SCRIPT? WHY DO WE PREPARE SCRIPT BEFORE DELIVERING A SPEECH?

A script is a written sheet of paper, which contains information   of directive. Then script preparation is a process by which the scriptwriter will think on how he /she can write his speech so as to attract the attention of   target audience. 

These following are the need/reason point and necessity of someone to prepare a script before delivering his/her speech.
1.     Prepared speech will help the speech maker to provide smooth attention having good beginning and effective wrap –up of conclusion. Prepared speech help to start a good speech, present it fine without any mistake and end it appropriately.

2.     A well written speech helps in making references when you have your script well prepared, will make a speech presenter to giver references on his speech without any fear because the references are there written in his script but without script, there is a need to fear since he is not checking what he is saying.
3.     Prepared speech help the speech maker to avoid repetition of words. With a script when presenting a speech maker presenter move forward because when he forget he quickly glanced on his script and pick it or move to another point. Since he has his script no reputation of word will occurred 
4.     Good prepared speech help the presenter to avoid sleep of tough, which often occurs to speech presenter, and also which always violate the listeners. It helps the presenter to be accurate and also facilitate accurate timing of the presentation. It help the presenter to flow well when presenting avoid jumping of a words which might draw him back latter.
5.     It provides the technical still to the information: The presenter need and make him direct his speech to the right picture at the right time. Also help him to document his speech script for future speech of same kind
The script preparation help  the  speech maker to focus on the topic make him accurate and punctual  because if  he did not prepared his speech he might  be loss when given the speech.
