Business Innovation and Incubation Specialist
Location: Lagos, Abuja
Job Description

However, as business incubation and innovation specialist, you will be responsible for providing business advisory services to start-ups and coordinating technical support.
You will demonstrate the ability to offer strategic services that lead to the growth of the incubated businesses and of the Innovation Hub.











Roles and Responsibilities


  1. First advice and coach entrepreneurs through strengthening of business ideas, adoption of tools and application of Information Technology, supporting business expansion and job creation.
  2. Pursue funding opportunities for the start-ups; interface with funders, venture capitalists, institutions for partnership and sponsorship.
  3. Foster linkages to value chains & markets and the growth of a community of change makers and innovators.
  4. Then provide technical assistance to other components of the Innovation Hub including on job employment and non-governmental sector strengthening.
  5. Promote best practise, supporting administrative and operational activities across the Hub.
  6. Develop successful and sustainable businesses using innovative approaches to compete in domestic and global markets.
  7. In addition. oversee consulting services on strategy, finance, legal, design, technology, marketing and more.
  8. Facilitate incubation and innovation development programmes.
  9. Organise and deliver vocational education and skills development programmes.
  10. Converge experts and leaders in private, public and non-governmental sectors to the Hub in networking and capacity building events.
  11. Lastly, support marketing and business development activities of the Innovation Hub.


Requirements


  • At least 10 years’ experience in supporting successful businesses from start-up stage.
  • Accounting, Economics or Finance degree with Masters.
  • And advanced proficiency in Business and Information Technology.

Job Title

Youth Empowerment and Employment Adviser
Location: Lagos
Job Description

As Youth Empowerment and Employment Adviser, you will be responsible for developing and exploring job employment and empowerment opportunities.
You will demonstrate the ability to link job seekers with organisations, increase the skills of entrants into the programme and strengthen the capacity of already employed individuals.











Roles and Responsibilities


  1. First of all, develop the capacity of youths and job seekers with critical skills matching specific industries.
  2. Execute successful job placements for seekers, employee sourcing and development for organisations.
  3. Build relationships with educational institutions, corporate organisations and international agencies to raise next generation of leaders across sectors.
  4. Equip professionals with intelligence's to access higher career levels and opportunities, enabling job promotion.
  5. Then identify and pursue initiatives to promote human capacity for social and national development.
  6. Develop training and mentoring modules – physical & online – to actualize job satisfaction and sustainability.
  7. Organize and deliver vocational education and skills development programmes.
  8. Host events for networking and capacity building in the Hub, and facilitate courses for organisations.
  9. In the same light, support knowledge sharing, marketing and business development activities of the Innovation Hub.
  10. Provide technical assistance to other components of the Innovation Hub on human resources.
  11. Lastly, promote business collaboration by building a network of leaders across sectors and strengthening business relationships.

Requirements


  • First minimum 5 year’s experience in Human Resources and Training.
  • Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business degree with Masters.
