Before you rush to fill forms for any of the firs careers job vacancies, positions and cadres, you need to be informed about the positions available and the job descriptions as uploaded on the FIRS website in PDF format.

How to apply for FIRS Recruitment 2016 using FIRS Application format
1. Log in to www.firs.gov.ng/career
2. Click on New Application
3. Enter your bio data (Names, date of birth, state of origin etc)
4. Choose the Position you are applying for
5. Upload your credentials (School Results, NYSC certificate etc)
6. Tick the box to prove you are not a robot
7. Click on “Submit Application”
Be sure to provide all the necessary documentations. Don’t be greedy or selfish to apply for more than one vacancy or job position if you want to stand a chance to be selected and called for interview. You have to be aware that you will be immediately disqualified if you apply for more than one position.
Very importantly, note that you will obtain a reference number immediately you submit your application online. This reference number is found on an acknowledgement notification you will receive after you click on submit. If you are finally called for an interview, you will be requested by FIRS to provide that reference number, so keep it safe. You have 50% chances to be called for physical interview if you fulfill all FIRS recruitment criteria.
Typically, the FIRS official website will be flooded by internet users and job applicants who want to apply and fill positions in the different cadres of the Federal Inland Revenue service, so we suggest that hurry up now and fill the application form on the approved FIRS official recruitment portal.
