ABSTRACT
This study on sex education –A tool for reducing
HIV/AIDS among Secondary School Students in Ikwo Local Government Areas in
Ebonyi State; with the aim of unveiling the negative effects and how to prevent
or control the deadly disease. HIV/AIDS popularly known as a killer disease has
become a serious problem allover the world, and in our country and in Ikwo
Local Government in Particular. Each time a man/Woman is dead or a child is
lost through this deadly disease. Some children become orphans a woman become a
widow and a family head. She is ill prepared for or some parents become
childless.
Each time HIV/AIDS infections leads to death of a family member
social life and psychological well-being are drastically affected. In order to
curb the ever-in creasing transmission of HIV infection, there is the need for
all and sundry to develop positive sexual behaviour that will result to
prevention and control of HIV/AIDS.
