ABSTRACT
This study focused on the Low male
enrollment in Secondary Schools in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State,
with the aim of finding out factors responsible for the low male
enrollment in secondary schools in Izzi
Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. This research work is descriptive survey
research and instrument used is questionnaire which was analyzed by the use of
percentage on the data collected. Meanwhile, after carrying out the research
work, the researcher discovered that the factors militating against positive
male enrollments in secondary schools in Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi
State are toget rich quick syndrome, attraction of apprenticeship, lack of
trust in ability of formal education in ensuring self-sufficiency, visible preponderance
of unemployed graduates etc.
