A
police helicopter has crashed into a crowded PUB of the Glasgow Clustsha Bank
The
crash happened at the Clustsha in Shockwell street at 22.25 (10:25pm CAT). A
bystander eye witness said that they saw the helicopter dropped like a big
stone from the sky.
Scotland
Police reported that there were about three (3) people on board (2 police
officers and 1 civilian pilots) and it has been reported that there were about
120 people in the PUB at the time but fire officers also said that they have
posted 125 officers in the scene of the crash. There have been numerous
casualties but police has not confirmed
whether anybody is dead but can say that the already rescued people has
sustained severe injuries but has been moved to the hospital.
Several
people are still trapped in the PUB of the bank as at the time of this report
but fire fighters and other rescue team workers are working tirelessly to
rescue and move people out of the building... Its was said by the fire officers
that the rescue work is very difficult because there is no direct entry into
the building.
The
safe corps of Scotland has also been trying to ascertain the cause of the
helicopter crash and said it might have fatalities as many people are asking
several questions about why the helicopter crashed into the said building.
The
Scotland police has blocked all entrances leading to the crash area to prevent
civilians to get through because they think that the helicopter might explode
so every civilian is being evacuated from the area.
This
is the first time that a helicopter crashes in the middle of the city.
