Hello bloggers and website owners, I believe we are
all doing well. I got something very interesting you need to know about Adsense
account and their time zone setting. This little write up/article is to notify all Adsense account
owners that another significant feature to change the time settings in Adsense
earning report has come into reality. It all started when one of my students logged into his Adsense
account, he saw notification of the dashboard which this message;
"You have
just changed your timezone and may notice discrepancies in estimated earnings
on the homepage. Your payments will not be impacted."
He
came running to me for help. Coincidentally, I received series of mails from other
bloggers with these questions;
I
am having serious issues on my Adsense, I changed my timezone “After Editing, you can see a message that I
have changed my timezone and my payment will not be impacted. In addition
to the warning my Adsense reports make no sense now. They basically do not update
for 8 hours of the day. I would never have done it if I knew there would be so
many issues i was quite happy the way it was. – From Barry
Presently all Adsense publishers are viewing their reports and stats in United States Pacific Time (-07:00 Pacific Time). This new feature allows you to change the time settings to any other countries time zone of your choice. Changing the time zone in Adsense allows users to show up the performance reports in a time zone that's more relevant to them and it does not affect you in any way, so stop being scared.
There is no fix because your Adsense
account doesn’t have any problem; it’s just a statement of fact, as google
pointed out: "If you change your timezone you should have one long day and
one short day whilst it adjusts". It would be too hard to manage this because “It Doesn’t Have Any Effect On Your Account”.
Things to be aware when you change the time zone
- Time zone changing of your reports only affects information from the time you make the change.
- Existing reports which had saved and scheduled will automatically be transferred to the upgraded time zone.
- Home page reports will always be shown in your account time zone.
- Different time zone will not shown on your Your payments. All Payments will be calculated using Pacific Standard Time.
How to change time zone in Adsense reports?
Here
is an easy procedure of Changing Time Zone in Adsense Account Settings.
- Go to Adsense dashboard/page
- Then Click Account Settings
- Next; Account Information
- Edit Time Zone displayed there.
- Click Save and you are done.
