EROSION SITES IN AFIKPO NORTH DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

In response to a request by a native of Afikpo North Development Center, for chairmen and co-ordinators to furnish their ministry with erosion sites within their localities I humbly make the following submissions:-

1.                  Ezi Agbi erosion site Ukpa

2.                  Ukpa Town hall erosion site, Ukpa

3.                  Amachara Elu erosion site, behind Assemblies of God church, Amachara.

4.                  Ndabueke erosion site, Mgbom

5.                  Iyiechi, Mgbom

6.                  Federal low cost estate, Ngodo (2 sites)

7.                  Evuma/Amangbala road site

8.                  Agbogo Enohia Nkalu

9.                  Isieke Enohia Nkalu

10.             Amuda Amachi

11.             Eziekuma Amachi

12.             Ndibe/Mater Hospital road along Amagbala, opposite St. Mary’s Church

These are very serious erosion areas requiring urgent attention. There are still minor sties though not mentioned.

Hope hope the commisioner will use his/her good office to assist in controlling envisaged disasters that may happen at these sites in the recent future if not taken care-of.
