PRECAUTIONS

The following
precautions were adopted in the feed mill department,

- Care was taken
on the operating key panel during the
operation

Ensure of
accurate weighing of feed materials
before formulation

- care was taken wile depositing the feed materials
inside the storage or inclined mixer to
avoid injuries and engine damage

During fish feed
production, the degree of floatation is checked using a bowl of water
-
the fish feed
should be re –dried when not properly
dried to extend the shelf life
-
during the
process of fish feed formulation, the loops is separated from the shoal ones when passing
through the belt conveyor to the
dryer
-
floor was thoroughly swept after production process
-
ensure of
wearing protection materials like nose
guard

Care was taken while
loosening the extruder part of
the machine to avoid injuries.
Preservation of feed materials: The
feed material are packaged and sealed with a sealing machine and later, stored in the storage room with a
label pasted on them
for easily identifications
