The table below indicate
beneficiaries perception of various poverty alleviation strategies employed by
EB-CSDA, The result indicates that it based their contacts on active poverty
groups and empathizes development of necessary competencies by encouraging
individual participants demonstration and also encouraged self help projects
among
beneficiaries.
This study therefore agrees with
Daudu (2002) who noted that education and provision of basic infrastructure
such as electricity, road network, health facilities are necessary strategies
for decent living and poverty alleviation in Nigeria.
