SUMMARY OF LITERATURE REVIEW
SUMMARY OF LITERATURE REVIEW
From the review of various literatures, Child adoption
is a legal process which gives parental right to adoptive parents. It is a
means whereby Childless couples legally take a homeless child into their home
as a permanent family member. It also entails guiding and supporting these
children emotionally and financially through their growing years in order to
help them develop their full potential.
It also identified some adoption practices which
exist. Child adoption as noted is a legal practice which ahs the full backing
of the law and constitution of our country Nigeria and other countries of the
World. Child adoption should never be shabbily or illegal done. Childless
couples whose hopes of having their own biological children have been sealed
should therefore go for a child adoption which is an elixir to longevity.
Hence, child adoption is a means of providing succor to childless couples.
