research was carried out on the role of women in the development of educational
activities. In Kaduna north local government.

4.2. ANALYSIS MADE BASED ON OPTION OF
RESPONDENTS.
Based on the
questionnaires, the respondents were ask to supply their names, age, sex,
religion, marital status, educational development as its widely acclaimed, is
not free from problems, and so the question was asked by the researcher to the
respondents is how they find the role of women in the development of
educational activities in Kaduna state particularly Kaduna north Local
Government, ninety of the respondents said they appreciated the role played by
women in the area and well the idea, while twenty five people said that they
think that the only way that the to cover all aspect of development is to
involve women actively in all the aspect
of development.
While the question of
whether the educational development is only concern with rural areas, sixty
nine respondents answered in the affirmative, while sixty six (66) respondents
said that the education development is in both areas i.e. rural and urban, with
more positive result seen in the urban areas due to high level of exposure.
View of women in educational development
According to sixty
(60) respondents the education development is to bring about changes to balance
human and material resource for good. While forty ( 40) respondents did not
answer or make any contributions reasons best known to them. Questions is asked
to the respondents based on financing of the program and eighty five (85) said
the community, local government and state government should share the burden
any education activities embarked by women, while fifty three(53) said the
burden should be shared by the women involved. Finally about thirty (30) said
women that embark on the program should product 50% of the total cost while the
remaining 50% should be produced by the government at both local and state
level.
The role of women in
the development of educational development activities like any other programme
faces so many problems due to government’s nonchalant attitude towards rural
development. Also due to the poor standard of living in most rural area ninety (90) respondent said the funds should
be generated through educational
seminar, workshop, appeal funds. Other problems faced when asked to the
respondent include problem of transportation, non – settlement of traveling
allowance, lack of external support etc.
4.3 ANALYSIS BASED ON THE HYPOTHESIS
The
role of women in the development of educational activities in the area is low
yes or no? Hundred questionnaires were distributed, eighty five were received
fifty three full house wives and thirty two female civil servants, the total
percentage of respondent who answer yes is
65% and that who answer no 35%.

The able above shows
the hypothesis is correct positive which proven that women in the north of
Kaduna state are not left behind in many
ways particularly in the field of formal and on formal education and in the
participation in national programmes both social, cultural economic and political
aspect of development

These goes along with
the question in the questionnaire which indicate that lack of well designed
programme affect the interest of the women in education development in the

Hypothesis 3
These hypothesis also goes along with the
question in the questionnaire that involves religious hindrance to women in
development of educational activities in the local government it is also a Yes
or No question. Eighty – five of the questionnaire distributed was received
from the respondents, fifty – five were house – wives and twenty five civil
servants.

These hypothesis also
goes along with the question in the questionnaire which state that improper
co-ordination of programme will lead to poor involvement of women to
educational activities is also a Yes or
NO? question. The questionnaire was
distributed to eighty (80) women, fifty (50) housewives and thirty (30) civil
servants.

made by the contribution of women in educational developmental activities will
encourage the government set out a programme that will encourage women to
