This location is also located along
Akwanga –Lafia road but it is directly opposite to location I. the outcrop of
this location is an outcrop of dyke of younger granite known as quartz feldspar
porphry in a ground with age Jurassic, it has ring structure and concentric
structures. The outermost parts form the ring dyke, which controls
the intrusion
of younger granite complex.
The
basement contacts have been conformed to intrude i.e. between the sedimentary
basin and the basement complex which means that more Ferro magnesium minerals
are at the centre. The younger granite which is the ring dyke is younger than
the basement and it cut across it (Basement complex).
The
grains are arranged at random and they are rich in casscarite or asstalcrite
and it contains 10% of ore.
The
main minerals observed there are as follows.
Felsic (quartz, feldspar but quartz is
very dominant)
Mafic – biotite is sparsely
distributed
The
texture of the rhyolytic dyke is porphritric and it is medium to coarse grain.
The
trends of the vein are;
N321o
- N140o, N21o - N207o
