According to the to information on their website, this is to inform the general public and all interested qualified candidates that the online application for the 75 Regular Recruits Intake for both Trades/Non Tradesmen and Women will commence soon.

Whenever the recruitment begins, the Nigerian Army Form will be available only on www.narecruitment.org which is the Nigerian Army e-Recruitment Portal Official Homepage. The Nigeria Army has warned that all applicants should ignore any form of scam message, SMS, emails etc from any third parties that might false-fully claim to be a helper or an agent in any form of Nigeria army associate. It was also said that the Nigerian Army reserves the right to prosecute any individual or group found to have fraudulently gained access to their website or information contained in it to defraud others.

  • Step 1: Create an account on the portal. You will be required to provide a valid Email Address (this will be your User Name) and a Password.
  • Step 2: Complete the Application form and Print a copy of your form. Note: You can log in to the portal at any time with your Email Address (User Name) and Password.
  • Step 3: Visit this website from dd-mm-yyyy to confirm if you have been shortlisted for the Pre-Screening Examination.
  • Step 4: Take part in the Pre-Screening Examination on dd-mm-yyyy at the centre you had chosen when completing the application form.

If you have decided to join the Nigerian Army, then you want to apply, Kindly read and understand the following simple guides about Nigeria army 2016/2017 Recruitment Application procedures before you commence your application

Who is eligible to Apply for the Recruitment?
  1. Applicants shall be of Nigerian origin by birth.
  2. All Applicants must attend zonal screening exercise at the designated zonal centres for their respective states.
  3. Non-Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 – 22 years by July 2016.
  4. Tradesmen & Women Applicants must be aged between 18 – 26 years by July 2016.
  5. Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.65 meters tall for male and 1.56 meters for female.
  6. Applicants must be free of any Criminal conviction.
  7. Applicants must submit all duly completed form (printed from this online portal) at the screening centres during the screening exercise period.



Applicants should be aware of Recruitment Requirements
  1. Photocopies of Birth Certificate/Age Declaration.
  2. Photocopies of academic and professional Certificates.
  3. A letter of Identification signed by the identifying officer in Section F of the duly completed form (printed from this on-line portal).
  4. Applicants shall be required to produce the originals of all certificates/Credentials and Electronic Voucher or Scratch Card used to apply on this on-line portal.
  5. Any applicant suspected to have impersonated, manipulated or submitted false documents shall be disqualified during or after training. Such an applicant shall also be handed over to the Police for Prosecution.
  6. Candidates whose pictures are not submitted electronically will not be considered for shortlisting.
  7. The Nigerian Army shall not entertain any enquires in respect of applicants whose applications are rejected or failed to meet the selection criteria.
