A comprehensive list of
Federal Universities in Nigeria approved by the National University Commission (NUC)
as at the year 2016/2017. The list is compiled in a serial order according to
the year of establishment by the Federal Government of Nigeria. This is to
enable students, lecturers, researchers, parents and guardians in different
parts of Nigeria who intend to apply for any of the Universities to know if the
institution they intend to apply for has been approved by the NUC.
