A RESEARCH PROJECT PRESENTED TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS EDUCATION, FACULTY OF EDUCATION
ABSTRACT
This
study was conducted to find out means of using the available instructional
materials for business studies. Four (4) research questions led the study. The populations
of this study were the teachers teaching business studies in Ikwo Local
Government Area and they were 34 business teachers drawn from the 20 secondary
schools in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. No sampling was done because
the entire populations of the study were used.
Data was collected using the
questionnaire of which the population is made up of 34 business studies
teachers. Item of the questionnaire were analyzed using frequency table and
mean score. The findings reviewed that of the entire questions asked and all
the 20 questions, were agreed. The finding of the study include the available
instructional materials which are chalk board, bulletin board, overhead
projector, typewriter, dictating machine and computer, etc. conclusion was
drawn by highlighting on the question that led to the studies and listing out
the possible findings from the questions used. One of recommendations is that
Business studies should be given enough time to enable students of business
studies learn it properly and master it. Suggestions for further studies were
also given in different areas.
