POSITION OF MLS AND ROLE OF COMPUTER IN MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM AND ITS IMPLICATIONS ON ECONOMIC ACTIVITIES OR DEVELOPMENT IN THE NIGERIA ECONOMY

INTRODUCTION
The  position or role of computer in management   information system,  cannot  be under estimated.  Their work in intended  to highlight the place or position of management   information system  mis   or the role of computer   in management information system and its implications on economics  activities  or development in the Nigeria economy. It  is meant to examine  the various   areas computer could be applied  in  the everyday  transactions of  the economy and how the various  applications have impacted  on the development of the  macro  economy. 
Indeed computer could be applied in initially all areas  of human endeavor.  The   numerous
  applications of    computer  have made the computer to be described  as  an  inheritable belonging by  right to everyone who chance  to be born into  our civilization . the applications of computer   create  new worlds and   explore the worlds so  created for the computer  users
Today the applications of computer are too numeric to mention: computers can be used to transfer  tn  predict tomorrows heather, guide a space  craft   store rest information, scan  pictures into documented  for publishing etc   
Computers are applied in education, industries,  companies and hospitals, government court  (Law),  home , military, economics, finance and accountancy science, engineering, business , administrator,  market, planning  and  for  carting
It could be used to audit government  account,  store information and results for  fatigue  uses give  information to soldier at war, locate  and  rescore stolen vehicles, conduct  accurate  census  etc. the use of which computer could be put in indisputably in exhaustible  and   this has  gone a long way to transform the  feed, accuracy  relionsiblity,  completeness, conciseness or    precession, ease, understand ability of  business   transaction  in the Nigeria  economy     
WHAT IS COMPUTER?
Compute has been defined variously by several people  computer  could be defined  as an dectronic device that is  made up fo  physical parts called the hardware and the  non=physical parts called the software. It  accepts data, instructions a commands, processes  data and produces result. It can equally be  defined as an electronic  machine that can be  used  to carry out various functions with the aid of l a programme or software l. others see computer  as  a programmable automatic electronic  machine  capable  of processing particular   data   sent  to it and come  out with the  result  or output which can be scored for futuse or immediate use as the case may be.  
 
CONCLUSION
The various computer,  drawbacks indicated above, not withstand , computer stands one of the most beneficial scientific  discovery of the present age. It is an  indispensable tool in the economic development of Nigeria.  It has contributed  immensely  toward the growth and stability of the  economy  because the merits far outweighs  the  limitation in all its application  areas   hence  the study  recommends that continued use of computer should be encourage in all  sectors of the macro economy  in Nigeria .
Ways  traditional media  can be used to facilitate self –help development in the village include the followings1. Through  music /song  media in traditional ways  
For  instance different traditional music or song can be used to  covey messages in the village, some times when there is enterement  , new born  , a lost but found
Child or adult may be the person has travel out of the village for long.
       People have assumed that the person is dead or something must have happen to him/her is happen there is no news or information or the way about of the person for many years.
The person happen to show himself to the village or the family there will be a kind of song or music to draw people attention about the person .
      Music or song in other way round can also be used to criticize or satirize .For example in this cause when somebody is debtor if there is any sad news like a young girl getting pregnant is the fathers compound without a husband or suitor and  she is still single than in the olden days, there is a kind of music usually sang by people I the village by her  age grade to attract people  attention to ask what is happening
With the song or music there will  be a kind of mockery in the song . to  the extend that the person name  and  what the  person that pregnant her is working will be included in the song
Immediately the song is   heard not  somebody  will tell you  that  something   is wrong and  the  girl will be very  sashmed of herself
In some parts of igboland, when  somebody dies, women send across the message of the death through the singing of a derge. The moment the  song is heard, people know someone has passed on.
When the government of Alhaji  Shehu  Shagari put the legalization of abortion to debate,  an Igbo  minister, prince Morocco Maduka, through song and music called  on the people to reject the legislation  of abortion in Nigeria

The gun is one of the universal non –verbal instruments of communication throughout igboland . A gun  shot at night coveys the   unmistakable message that an important person has  died  and that burial rites are to commence. The  during must be done  repeatedly and at intervals and can last for days when a very important person dies, in some  areas .  firing of a gun  behind a woman  being led to her    
The  firing of a gun during social ceremonies like traditional marriage ceremonies meansnothing but the arrival or exit of a very important personality 3. Native white chalk (NZU ) has  facilitated in  the   development of  traditional   system in Africa 
White chalk is used to intertent  vistors and also sent messenger and  young froinds of the oil palm tree  (OMU) asking to choose  between peace and war
The white chalk prepesent peace. While  the omu represents war danger. When  they is a misunderstanding   between two communities there will   present the white chalk and the  (Omu)  young founds to choose if  they choose the white chalk means   they want peace not trouble so  the matter will be settle amicably.
Jugumen or native doctors make ritualistic use of the white chalk. A woman  visiting a fellow  woman, who had  just had a baby, expresses her joy by robbing  her face with white chalk  offered by the new   mother.
