The poultry unit are sub divided into the following sections

The major activities carried out on the training is
dependent on the unit /section during the period of attachment . They are listed and explained as follows;

The
activities performed in minor aspect
within the farm are as follows:

1.
Sanitation: This is daily
activities carried out in the farm. The office department has to be swept, dusted
on daily basis in order to keep the environments clean. The toilets are also
washed whenever it is sortie to avoid disease contamination. The
cobweb was also removed in the
animal house
2.
Arrangement
Of Files: Files were orderly arranged
to their number from 1-100,
100-150, 151-200 etc, to enable the staffs locate it easily when
the need arises
3.
Preservation
of agricultural products: The
processed and unprocessed feed materials were preserved in the store using
rodenticide, insecticide etc. While the
harvested fish can be preserved by freezing
and smoking method . slaughtered pig can be preserved by freezing
4.
Issuing of
receipt: was usually issued
to the customers as evidence of purchase
of the farm produce
Recording of
the weight of feed materials
:The mass of the grains limestone,
wheat offals, soya meal and other feed materials were appropriately recorded
RECOMMENDATION AND CONCLUSION
Considering the position of CHRIS FARM (Nig) Limited in uplifting the standard of living of both urban and
rural dwellers . The farm officials should try as much as
possible to increase th money paid to the industrial attaches and the wages and salaries of the workers and
to pay the salaries
at the appropriate
time so as to enable them
to be more serious and
dedicated to their duties.
To students
based on the knowledge and experience
achieved, I hereby advice any students who really need
a practical knowledge especially on animal science, fisheries and aquaculture and agricultural
engineering option to go to CHRIS FARM (Nig) Limited
The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) should also ensure that they at least pay a visit t the students during their period of attachment and also the payment of funds to the students after undergoing this
training.
Finally, to the institution, they should also ensure
that they visit the students at their place of industrial attachment to supervise them
