History of Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) according to official portal says that immigration was extracted from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in 1958 (August precisely). News has it that NIS ws referred to as the Immigration Department and headed by the Chief Federal Immigration Officer (CFIO), as at that time.
Nigeria Immigration Recruitment Examination Centers and Zonal Screening
As usual, you need to be informed of the examination requirement that will enable you to be eligible to partake in the screening test. You MUST bring the following items to the Nigeria Immigration Service Examination Centre before you will be allowed to take the test. They include;
- Your Acknowledgement Slip
- ID Card and
- Writing materials.
Note that your exam venue depends on your zonal or geo-political zone. To easily confirm the examination venue in your own state of application, please contact the State Command of Nigeria Immigration Service ONLY, no one else.
Recent and latest news says that the Nigeria Immigration Services' Controller General has also made it categorically clear that the NIS will reach all Applicants through their emails before July 2017 for further information regarding recruitment and test. Re-Print Nigeria Immigration Service Acknowledgement Slip
This is the guide that will show you how to re-print the NIS recruitment acknowledgement slip only at the NIS official website.
- Log on back to the CDFIPB eRecruitment Site
- click on the Acknowledgment Slip tab: http://recruitment.cdfipb.gov.ng/registration/acknowledgment
- Enter your NIS Application ID
- Enter your Validation Number (Validation Number is the number on the bank slip).
- Click Enter, the click Print.
