Zobo drink has
been a nutritional drink where as people don’t see it as one because of this it
has been prepared and packaged roughly.
Each
time I take it I always dream of creating an impact of its nutritional value to
the people and also its natural and medicinal value, but all my effort of
convincing them seems abortive.
And
I think if I recreate the business my aims will be achieved.
I
will make sure it is well processed, well packaged so as to be desirable,
enticing and also very hygienic to meet its nutritional demand of human.
BUSINESS
DESCRIPTION
Zobo production
is a manufacturing business whereby new product is been produced through
different raw-materials. The raw-materials I wish to use are
1. Water
2. Zobo
leaves
3. Pineapple
to taste
4. Pineapple flavour to taste.
With this four raw materials a high standard
of
Zobo is been
produced.
In
most cases people add sugar, ginger and garlic, but I don’t want to add them to
my own product so that it will be possible and desirable to all people as some
dieters do not take such tins like sugar, ginger and garlic.
STEPS
ON HOW TO PREPARE ZOBO
1 Cup of dried zobo leaves
4 Cups of boiling water
Pineapple juice
Pineapple flavour
DIRECTION
1. Set the leaves in a large bowl, cover
with boiled water, set aside for 2-4 hours (this will allow the drink to steep)
2. Pour the drink through a sieve or
strainer to separate the fluid form the leaves
3. Add some ice, Juice and flavour to
taste then package with can and seal to maintain hygiene.
BUSINESS
ENVIONMENT ANALYSIS
I have chosen a
site at Okposi in Ohaozara local government area, Ebonyi State which some
factors has been considered before choosing the site so as to be possible.
The factors considered are;
1. Availability of resources and not just
profitability.
2. Government
and her agencies
3. Marketing
4. And
also the availability of labourers.
MARKET
ANALYSIS
The demand is
low now in the market because it is not packaged in the way it will be
attractive and hygienic.
But
I strongly believe that after my production that it will cherish by the people
and also be desirable because it will be of high quality and attractive and
also hygienic that after taking it you will like to take more to compare with
coca-cola drinks.
And
also the demand of zobo drink has been high in Ohaozara L.G.A and their
neighboring towns.
MARKETING
PLAN
It is been sold
at the rate of N30 when packaged with 50cl can now and it can be sold only in
the market, streets, schools and some churches.
After
my production it will be sold at the rate of N50 when packaged with 50cl can
and it will supplied to offices, supermarkets, markets and the Okposi town and
neighbouring towns which has a big daily market that can serve as a reliable
outlet for the products.
OPERATION
PLAN
It
is a small scale business always managed by an individual in their different
homes.
In my production, it will be a challenge to
large scale business production so as to minimize cost and maximize profit.
And
there will be several sectors or sections or departments like, sealing,
filtering, sieving and washing departments.
So as to meet the demand of the people
MANAGEMENT
AND ORGANIZATION
A qualified
manager from food science and technology will be employed to oversee to the
running of the company, to minimize cost of production and maximize profit.
Appropriate
record will be kept for effective management of the business to ensure quality
production and profit oriented

CONCLUSION
Zobo production is a very creative
business and a good source of nutrients to human body. It provides energy to
the users.
Zobo production is a courageous and
profitable business.
CONCEPTUALIZATION
It is advisable
for people to take drinks from natural resources other than drinks made of
chemicals which is not good for the human body because of the preservatives
added to it. Indeed, zobo as a nutritional drink provides satisfaction in the
same manner other drinks do but what makes it preferable is that it is a fresh
energy drink and impact nutrients faster for the sustenance of immune system
and removal of other sicknesses that may have been resting in the body.
