Register for Advanced & Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Ad/Pgde)

Since inception NTI Academic and CPD Programmes, the Institute has mounted various programmes aimed at accelerating teacher development at all levels particularly at the basic education sector. This is with a view to raising the quality of education in the country in particular and the quality of overall national development in general.

The Institute’s mandate right from its inception was to train and retrain all categories of teachers for the Nigerian Educational System.  The Institute commenced the Advanced and Post-Graduate Diploma in Education programmes in February 2005. These are 15 months courses that include three months of internship.

Register For any of the National Teachers Institute (NTI) Programmes such as:
Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), Bachelor degree programmes (BDP), Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), Advanced Diploma in Education (ADE), Pivota Teachers Training Programme (PTTP), Continuing professional Diploma, (CPD) & the Capacity Building Programme.

  • Step 4: Generate RRR
  • Please note that only payments made against RRR Codes generated via this portal would be accepted.

  • Step 6: Complete your application

In 2015, new upgrading (academic) programmes were introduced. They include: Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Business Education and in Computer Science Education and the Degree Programmes (BA. Ed English Language, BA. Ed Social Studies, BA. Ed Primary Education, BSc. Ed Mathematics, BSc. Ed Integrated Science, BSc. Ed Physical and Health Education.)
New courses proposed to be introduced in 2017 session are: Advanced Diploma in ICT Integration for Teachers and Advanced Diploma in Environmental Studies for Teachers.
Professor Azare, which gave an insight into the institute’s activities in Kaduna said NTI launched a portal to register applicants and payments. With the new portal, said students are able to pay, through their ATM cards and some banks.

In the work, he said: “Remi number is generated automatically on the submission of appropriate information to the portal and improve a bank that can be used for payment.”
