The Arabian Peninsula was originally
the home of nomadic peoples who coped with the desert climate by migrating
every season when some began to establish settlements around the fifth century
Bc, many chose Mecca, near the West coast
of Saudi Arabia, as their home. It did not offer a favourable climate or many
natural resources, but it was the site of the K’aba, a large cubical shrine
dedicated to various deities.
The religion of Arah world before
the advent of Islam was an animistic polytheism. The desert was populated with
fiery spirits called Jinn. Numerous gods were worshipped, with most towns
having their own patron god. Mecca soon became the religious centre, with 360
shrines, one of each day in the lunar year. Local merchants depended heavily on
pilgrim to these shrines for their livelihood, a fact which would become
significant for Muhammad.
Allah
Even among the innumerable deities
of Arabian polytheism was a god who was more impressive than the rest. Allah
(Arabic for “the god”) was “the creator, provider and determiner of human
destiny”, and ‘he was capable of inspiring authentic religious feeling and
genuine devotion”. Generally, Allah was
regarded as the greatest among the many gods deserving worship, but one
contemplative sect, the hanifs , worshiped Allah exclusively. It was into this
world of sporadic monotheism and rampant immorality that Islam was born.
MUHAMMAD
Arab polytheism was focused entirely
on the earthly life, and religion was not a source of morality. By Muhammad’s
time, blood feuds, violence, and general immorality abounded. Yet monotheism was
not unheard of among the Arabs. There was contact with Zoroastrianism, which
was the official state religion of Persia from the 3rd century BC to
the 8th century AD and influential on its neighbours. It was a
dualistic religion with beliefs an heaven, hell and a final judgment. In
additional both Judaism and Christianity had established a presence on the
Arabian peninsula especially in the south. In Yathrib (later named medina), the
Jewish population was especially influential.
Islam is a concept that was derived
from the Arabic word “Salam” meaning peace, hence the saying that Islam is a
religion of peace. Islam means total submission to the will of God (Allah).
Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdullah is the
foundation of religion of Islam and is regarded as Muslims as a messenger and
prophet of God, the last and greatest law bearer in a series of prophets.
Muslims consider him the restorer of the uncorrupted original monotheistic
faith (Islam) of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and other prophets. He was
also active as a diploma, merchant, philosopher, orator, legislator, reformer,
military, general and according to Muslim belief an agent of divine action.
Muhammad was born in 570 AD in the
Arabian city of Mecca, he was orphaned at a young age and brought up under the
care of his uncle Abu Talib and his grand parents during which he took part in
several trading expenditure. When his uncle died, he worked as a merchant, well
as shepherds and married at the age of 25yeas, he married Khadija who was
15years older than him and then managed her business. During his journey to
Syria, he came in contact with Christianity and Judaism and began to compare
these religion with primitive pagan beliefs of the Arabs who worshipped idols,
most notably the black stone of the ka’aba,.
When Mohammad was about 40years he
began to see his vision as a prophet and a preacher and a teacher, the then
into a complete retirement, spending his time in prayer, lasting and
meditation, the said he had a vision or revelation that Angel Gabriel appeared
to him and he has been called upon by God to regenerate his people by a new
religious. The religion called Islam which means total submission to God. At
first the people of Mecca were hostile to Muhammad and his teaching. Muhammad
said that God said he is the least and least prophet.
In 622AD, he fled to medina where
large crowd of followers soon gathered around him, when he felt sufficient
strong he invaded Mecca and military sway.
Mohammed’s Islamic teachings consist
briefly of belief in one supreme God and on Mohammed’s as his prophet, the
existence of angles, life after death, heaven and hell and in predestination.
This is a belief history of Islam.
ISLAM
AS A RELIGION OF VIOLENCE
Islam is said to be a peaceful
religion, but I doubt if its true because Islam has always been on the
offensive side against non-Muslims, but it has been said generally that Islamic
is a religion of peace. I would like to argue that though is a religion in its
own right positively some of its teaching. But its adherent contradicts of its
claim of being a religion of peace by its violent destruction of lives and
property.
Mohammad posed as an apostle of God,
yet his life is filled with lustfulness (12 marriages sex with a child salves
and concubines), rapes, warfare, conquest, and unmerciful butchenes. The
infinitely good, just and all holy God simply cannot tolerate anything in the
least unjust or sinful.
Just a look at Mohammad Qur’an
(Koran) should be enough to warn you to keep your distance form Islam) in it
you will see such evil as statements like these:-
Ø Loves those who fight
Ø Fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them, and
seize them, beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem.
Ø Chop off their hands and chop off their fingertips
Ø When you meet the unbelievers chop off their heads
Ø Fight and slay those who don’t convert wherever you
find them
Ø Believers, take neither Jew nor Christians for your
friends.
Ø Those who reject Islam are ‘the vilest of creatures”
and thus deserve no mercy, fight them until Islam reigns supreme (throughout
the world). There are more than 100 verses in the Koran advocating the use of
violence to spread Islam. There are exactly 123 verses in the Qur’an about
killing and fighting.
The world “Islam” has been falsely
proclaimed by Muslims to mean peace. The world Islam actually means
“submission” to the Muslim god of intolerance and hatred. It comes from the
root Arabic word “taslim”. In Arabic the word for peace is only “Solh”. Islam
can deceive you, it can fool and it rejects the salvation Jesus has made
possible. Islam spreads the lie that Jesus never even died on the cross, that
alone makes it demonic, off all the holy book sin the world, satan has taken
pains to ensure that Muhammad and his Qur’ran (Keran) defiantly stand in
diametrical opposition to Jesus, the son of God, the true Prince of Peace and
his new testament. The immortal souls of billions of individuals are involved
here. To good Muslims I say, “I have sympathy with your having to grow up in a
closed society … where not embracing Islam would have gotten you shunned or
even killed”.
According to interpretation of the
Qur’an, conversion to faith other than Islam is punishable by death, Islam
maintains a choke hold on its followers. This sorrowful situation most Muslims
are born into should arouse compassion and not scora, from the followers of
Christ. Jesus never said true prophets would appear on the last days. Rather,
He said false prophets would arise who would deceive.
However, when a Muslim declares that
Islam is a religion of peace, he or she is either ignorant of the Koran, or is
deceitfully thinking of his “peace” as it extends only to those within the
Muslim community. The deceit is that they will not tell you exactly what they
mean. According to the Qur’an Muhammad is the apostle of Allah, those who
follow him are merciful to one another, but ruthless to unbeliever of Islam”
Surah 48;29 says “kill the Mushrikun (unbeliever) wherever you find them and
capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them in each and every
ambush …” Surah 9:5 and also Surah 9:29 “fight against those who have been
given the scripture (Christians and Jewish) as believe not in Allah hath
forbidden by his messenger, and follow not the religion of truth, until they
pay the tribute readily, being brought how”. And to this, there is not a single
verse in the entire Christian bile that contains this “open-ended”, universal
command to kill or be ruthless to unbelievers. Muhammad
led 27 military campaigns against innocent villages and caravans and planned 38
other and he said “I am the prophet that laughs when killing my enemies
(Christians & Jews), such as religion can not be a religion of peace. The
god of Muslim is revealed as a tyrant who demands Muslims and all other submit
to him. Where as in the new testament, Jesus revealed to Christians a God who
is a loving father, who wants us to come to him freely. In the old testament
(Exodus 34:6) the real God reveled himself as “merciful and gracious, long
suffering and abundant in goodness and truth”. He is the creator of the
universe, the God of love, and Lord of life. The God of Israel is this true
God, He insist “Thou shall not kill the innocent and just.
Also, most Muslims do not realize
that Islam allows no freedom. This alone should make them realize that it is
the satan behind Islam, and not an eternal God. Satan wishes only to enslave
Muslims to help him enslave the entire world. “Islam” means “peace” are lying
to yo. A Muslim is not allowed to leave Islam or else risk his or her life. A
birth, a person is branded either Muslim or non- Muslim depending on one’s
descent. The religion of Islam is a brain-washing religion and that is why so
many Muslims turn into crazy mindless zombies. They are repaired to pray 5
times a day in Arabic to God who is not there, from the moment they embrace
Islam, and when they do so they touch their hands to the floor. That is one
reason they get so brain washed, this respective prayer. You can often spot
fanatical Muslims by the marks on their foreheads resulting from this
repetitive touching their head to the floor, where they may whack their head if
they really get into it, and during this prayer period they perform their
rituals.
Furthermore, Islam is a religion of
violence in the sense that most of the terrorist group we have in the world
today are formed or are introduced by Islam and are well known. Islam has
bombed and destroyed many buildings, planes and vehicles. Additionally, during
the last 20 years, Islamic groups have targeted and murdered the world, in
Kenya, Nigeria, Indonesia, Iran, France, South America and America etc.
Islamist group are the ones responsible for attacks and they have murdered
those they felt were a threat to their aims. No one especially Christians
have been spared by these treacherous
people.
This Islamic religion so they call
themselves use or threaten people by use of violence by persons or an organized
group against group or property with the intention of intimidating societies or
governments often for ideological or political reasons. In northern Nigeria,
where a radical Islamist group has launched a string of attacks on Christians
especially when Christians are celebrating Christ like on Christmas day church
bombing in the capital of Abuja that killed 43 people. We find it pertinent to
state that solders will kill the innocent ones among them in the Local
Government Areas where the state of emergency was declared. This was their
statement “we would confront the squarely to protect our brothers, we would
also wish to call on our fellow Islamist to come back to the North because we
have evidence that they would be attacked. We are also giving a three day
ultimation to the southerners living in the North to move away” Abdul Quga was
guoted as saying by the Nigerian new paper. “This Day” if truly Islam was a
religion of peace they would not have the mind for all this, but it’s because
it’s a religion of violence that is why they have the mind to do this.
Additionally, Islamic religious
groups in Northern Nigeria gave Christians living in the Northern parts of
Nigeria to flee on May 132, 2013, Rabbi Nathan lopes Cardo 20 why giving the
document that would permanently change the world only in desolation by Scolt
Baldauf?
Five bombs exploded on Christmas day
at churches in Nigeria one killing at least 27 people raising fear that Islamic
group which claimed responsibility is trying to ignite the latest in string of
violence. The main goal of Islam is to convert the entire world and submit all
mankind to the faith of Islam, Islam will fight and destroy in order to achieve
their goal and its to make world wide state sanctioned religion by criticism regimenting
all aspect of life based on Islamic teaching, they say Islam is the only true
religion all other religion are false and an insult to Allah which is not true
if they truly as the everlasting king. Islam is the only religion that openly
and actively believes in the elimination of all other religion by killing
non-believers of Islam and force conversion or enslavement to the Muslims as
being the acceptable solutions to other religion and that in the end all that
is allowed is Islam forgetting that most of the doctrine which they practice
today was borrowed from those other religion which they want to banish.
However, with all these which Islam does I strongly believe it’s a religion of
violence, though Muhammad meant have meant peace by the name but he definitely
do not mena so by his action because he slaughtered many people in the name of
spreading Islam with observable facts that Islam is fileld with violence in the
life of Muhammad himself and the Quran itself.
Finally, almost all the Islamist
group or terrorist groups are owned by Islam, and some of the Islamist group
are the shabab in Somalia, the Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreh, Boko haram and the
Abu-Sayy of terrorist group, all these group where organized by Islam and these
groups organization has been linked to different violence acts like bombing,
assassination, kidnapping for ransom and extortion, so I think if you really
follow my points with all which Islam that claims to be a religion of peace.
On 16th April 2014, the
Boko Haram who are also Islamist group kidnapped 150 student in Boronu State to
prove that Islam is a violent religion has done or is doing more harm to our
society, you will agree with me that Islam is a religion of violence because I
strongly believe that Islam is a religion of violence.
