Sir,

RE: REPORT OF BAD ADMINISTRATION BY CHAIRMAN OF IKEJA WARD

My attention has been drawn to the petition purportedly written by executive of PPP Ikeja Ward against the Mr. Daniel Femi, the PPP Ikeja Ward Chairman and my good self alleging unilateral removal of two members of the ward executives and seizure of their salaries for six months.

I wish to use this medium to state the true position of the of the matter to keep the record straight.

1.   The purported letter written by the executive of Ikeja Ward was a mere Frump-up and orchestration of Barrister Stanley Okoro and Emenike Ebeledi who used and signed the names of the executive members of the ward without even their consents they sat down in one of the business centres and fabricated those lies which they dished out.
2.   That Hon. Patrick Oluwadayo resigned his position as the ward secretary to contest the PPP ward primaries during which he exhibited some holiganisted behaviors by snatching the result sheet of the ward primaries from Odara Asa at Sulurele in the presence of the state PPP ward congresses committee and everybody and chewed the same result, that after his resignation and contest, he sized to attend ward PPP meetings till date. The records are there to proof this point.
3.   The executive members of Ikeja Ward held a meeting and unanimously resolved to replace the vacant positions created by the resignation of the secretary Hon. Patrick Oluwadayo and the decampment of Emenike Ebeledi to people’s progressive alliance PPA. Their resolutions were conveyed to me in writing and duly signed. And I upheld their resolutions.
4.   It would be recalled that I had some time in June written to inform the state chapter of our party the Anti-Party activities going on in my local government area with facts and figures of those perpetrating and sponsoring such activities.  I am happy that those people have continued to expose themselves in different forms including this frivolous petition.
5.   That the day senator Fred Febo came to Mile 2 to see the PPP delegates of Ikeja Local Government, Augustine Wuse, Emenike Ebeledi in the company of some unidentified cultists besieged the venue and attempted to snatch the drinks and money given to Ikeja Ward but for the quick and timely interventions of masers Sunday Donatus Odu and my treasurer Mr. Nema Charadi who rescued those items and brought them safely, un-tampered with to my house. Those actions and reactions took place in my absence. When the chairman of Ikeja Ward came to my house, I released those items to him in-act which I learnt he disbursed accordingly.
6.   Finally, I wish to state categorically loud and clear and for the umpteenth time that there is no problem at Ikeja Ward.

PRAYERS
The State working committee of our great party should warn and restrain Stanley Okoro and his paymasters from fanning the embers of disunity at Ikeja Ward the actions taken by the executive members of Ikeja Ward to replace vacant positions created by resignation and decampment should be allowed and approved by the State working committee of our great party.

Our dear chairman should use his good office to caution people against frivolous petition writing and call Barrister Stanley Okoro and his paymasters to order. This is the truth, the only truth, and nothing but the truth.

This is most respectfully submitted for your information and disposal actions Sir, Vide photocopies of my supporting documents for ease of reference.

I remain
Yours faithfully
(Signature)
Hon. Ephraim Bayo
Chairman
PPP Ikeja L.G.A
