The counselors we make
suggested that the situation can be remedied through the following ways:
i.
by providing adequate learning
materials or facilities
ii.
employing qualified personal,
awarding of free education according to them in the secondary school students
From the research carried we find out that the
academic performance of the secondary
school students are very poor.
Suggestion For Further
Studies
The researchers made the
following suggestions for further studies:
1. This topic can be
repeated in another local government
area within or outside Ebonyi State.
2. A study to identify factors militating against government like
worm attitude towards adequate
supervision of school.
Conclusion
From the above findings, the
researchers can conduce that because of inadequate school supervision, the
school environment , socio –economics status of
the parents, lack of qualified personnel, poverty, inadequate faculties
for learning, incompetence of the teachers, students in secondary schools in Izzi Local Government Area have been showing consistent poor performance in their academic work.
