QUALITY ASSURANCE DEPARTMENT / SECTION IN A BEER BREWERY


This department is in charge of maintaining the standard quality of all the raw materials that arrives the company, making sure that all the products are up to the standard the company needs before they are accepted to the company, otherwise it is rejected. This department, above all has an important responsibility of making sure that the company’s products both the lager and the malted drinks are up to the company’s standard and National standards according to the Standard Organization of Nigeria (S.O.N) before these products leave for the market.


            To achieve this, the department monitors all the stages of production collecting samples and analyzing them to make sure that they are equal to the company’s Norm at that stage of production in other to achieve standards. The department is headed by the Total quality Manager (TQM) and assisted by senior analysts, which makes up the team that carries all other departments in the Brewery along.

            This department comprises of different sections, which includes;
§  Entrance control section
§  Water/chemical section
§  Process control section
§  Microbiological section
