Salary: £55,000 Per Ann Sector: Building Services, Engineering
First and foremost, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a leading international Building Services practice on a permanent basis in London. Our client has a wealth of knowledge and experience providing expert engineering, design, and consultancy services to a number of world renowned projects in the Transportation, Retail and Water sectors. Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their innovative team, and assist with major rail projects.
The selected candidate will have a variety of roles and responsibilities, including:
In the first place, delivering allocated technical assignments including heating, ventilation, air conditioning etc. systems
Secondly, undertaking consultancy assignments and providing advisory support to clients
Further, undertaking design checks and reviews before submission
And, assisting senior management with running the commercial and contractual side of projects
As a matter of fact, helping to identify new business opportunities
Similarly, maintaining strong relationships with key client representatives
Nevertheless, contributing to the overall team development and growth through mentoring and strategic input
Actually, ensuring the consistent delivery of high quality designs
Moreover, helping to generate repeat business from both internal and external clientele
Key skills, experience and attributes:
Firstly, degree qualified in Mechanical/Building Services Engineering
Secondly, chartered Engineer
Thirdly, rail M&E experience
And also, good understanding of technical concepts, and experience creating reports
Nevertheless, proven knowledge of mechanical/building services design, installations and commissioning
Should be able to Competent user of IT and design software e.g. Hevacomp, IES, NES/NBS, AutoCAD/Revit etc.
Should have experience in sustainability and BREEAM, and its influences on mechanical design
Indeed, understanding of regional and national planning policies, legislation and building regulations
Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure
On the other hand, should have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Ability to travel throughout the UK and abroad for project related work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Additionally, good technical and analytical abilities, with a high attention to detail
