UI Latest News Updates 2017/18: In the first place, University of Ibadan, UI will conduct written Post-UTME (Exam) in 2017 as part of admission screening for the 2017/2018 academic session. Furthermore, the University authority also released the General Admission Processing System (GAPS) for the session.

In the long run, candidates are requested to note that a written post UTME screening exercise will be held at a date to be communicated very soon. To this effect, candidates are advised to be on the lookout for the date and other modalities for the written test.

UI CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS)
All things considered, the 2017/18 admission exercise will be based on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. The University of Ibadan,UI has released its post-UTME/admission screening form for the 2016/2017 academic session. Candidates who chose UI as their first choice of institution and score the required cut-off mark should apply for admission for the 2016/2017 academic session.
WHAT IS THE CUT-OFF MARK FOR UI?
The cut-off mark for the University of Ibadan post-UTME/admission screening is 200 and above.
HOW TO APPLY 2016/2017
To apply for the UI post-UTME/admission screening exercise for the 2016/2017 academic session;
- Candidates are to pay the sum of two thousand five hundred naira (N2,500.00) only is for processing of each candidate’s application.
- Candidates are to upload their passport photographs and signatures. The passport photograph must be without glasses, cap or headgear.
- Candidates should follow all instructions carefully.
