The Police Service Commission (PSC) has shortlisted 338,227 applicants out of the 911,438 candidates, who successfully applied for the 10,000 advertised positions for recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force. This is even as the list showed that the state with the highest number of applicants is Benue with a total of 29,565, closely followed by Kogi, with 19,802 candidates; while FCT has the least with 2,692, closely followed by Lagos, with 2,794 candidates. How to Check you name in the Nigeria Police Recruitment List

Simply follow the instructions below to check whether you are qualified or not.
  1. Use your browser and go to the NPF Recruitment website Portal 
  2. The website is http://psc.gov.ng/shortlisted-candidates.html
  3. Now click on your state of origin to access the list and see your screening date.
  4. NB: This is the initial list for General Duty Applicants only.

SCREENING FOR 2016/2017 SECTION FOR CANDIDATE WHO APPLIED FOR NIGERIA POLICE.

Useful information:  The date of the screening starts from the June 6 2016. All shortlisted candidates are to dress in a plain white shirts & shorts and go ahead to the Police Command Headquarters of your various States of Origin on their designated interview dates. They are also to go to the interview venue with a printed copy of the letter sent to their emails without failure, as this admits you into the screening venue.

Furthermore, you are to present both the original copies and photocopies of the following:
  1. Your Duly Completed Guarantor’s Form;
  2. Your State of Origin Certificate;
  3. All your Educational Certificates;
  4. Your Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age;
  5. Only one white coloured Office Flat File Jacket;
  6. Two copies of a Recent Passport Photographs with your name written behind in capital letters.
You are to strictly adhere to the contents of this letter as no excuse will be entertained.
