Engineering
is the activity of applying scientific knowledge to the design, building and
controls of machines, roads, bridges, electrical equipment, among others. While
an engineer is a person whose job is designing, and building engines, machines,
electrical equipment etc. He is also trained to repair engines, machines and
other gadgets. He is also in charge of controlling engines and machines in
various offices, home, industries, among others.
Among the aforementioned engineering
courses available in different fields and instructions of learning,
telecommunication engineering is preferable to me to enable being engaged as a
worker at NEPA or NITEL. Electrical and electronic engineering in the field of
studies. It focuses on the application of electrical and electronic appliances
at homes, companies, factories, industries, government land private offices
etc. An engineer from the field of electrical and electronic can produce
electrical and electronic equipment which are used for industrial and domestic

The salary level ranges form thirty
five thousand naira (N35,000) to eighty five thousand naira (N80,000) based on
levels. Allowances comprise of: House, health, disturbance, transport and risk
allowances. Each of the above named allowance is being paid according to grade level
and the type of job involves.
The above allowances serve as motivational
factors to make workers put more efforts and commitment in the course of
discharging their duties.
Equipment:
These are mechanical devices or gadgets used by engineer working in NEPA or
NIPEL when carrying out their routine duties.

is an electrical instrument which is used to measure voltage.

instrument which is used to test whether there is flow or current or not.
