In
this chapter, we shall summarize, discuss and conclude this wonderful piece of
work. This work has as its topic; the entrepreneurship studies in Nigeria depth,
trends and challenges and has as its main objectives, to find out the history
of entrepreneurship studies in Nigeria, how far have Nigeria and Nigerians gone
in the issue of entrepreneurship (the depth), the changes that have occurred
since it’s acceptance into the economic sphere, and those obstacles that
entrepreneurs face in Nigeria.
In
chapter one, we were able to discuss the origin/historical background of
entrepreneurship, state the objectives of our study, the significance and scope
and the limitations were not left out.
In
chapter two, we analyzed and reviewed all the available related literature on entrepreneurship based on academic review.
Theories of entrepreneurship were discussed. Then the studies of the subject
matter in Nigeria, the depth, trends, and the challenges were also analyses.
In
conclusion, the topic entrepreneurship in Nigeria, depth, trends, and
challenges has not only given the researcher wide range of knowledge about the
subject matter but also has made known to the researcher of the depth, that is
, how far entrepreneurship and it’s studies has gone in Nigeria and why people
are not interested in harnessing the potential in them and in the environment
they find themselves in. we have
also discussed government efforts
towards making sure that the studies of entrepreneurship is given a priority
and that the masses are empowered and the rate of unemployment is reduced, but
the issue prebendalism and lack of consistency in policy and it’s
implementation has crippled most of the programmes.
So
it is pertinent at this juncture, to advice all well meaning but jobless
teeming Nigeria youth and the elderly ones to accept the spirit of “I can do
it” (the spirit entrepreneurship) so that, the rate of corruption and will be
reduced, Nigerian economy improved and the struggle for government houses,
national assembly etc as the only means of making a living will reduced.
