FOR BID
1. The federal government of Nigeria has
received credit form the international Development Association (IDA) towards
the cost of the third National Fadama development project, part of which
proceeds have been no lent to the Ebonyi
State government. The Ebonyi State
government had allocated part of the credit and its fund for implementing
community level Advisory Service Activities (ASA) in Ezza North Local
Government Area. This intended that these funds will be applied to eligible
payments under contracts to be given out by the Fadama community association
(FCA).
2. We hereby invite you/your
firm/agency top make a sealed offer for the following services:
§ Design of an ASA proposal to
address the constraint on recommended practice on poultry production management
and nutrition.
§ Plain for implementation of
the designed ASA proposal along with user group, should it be accepted.
3. You/your firm/agency need to
meet the following requirements to be eligible to bid proof that the person has
suitable education and experience (including local language and culture) for
the task.
4. You/your firm/agency may
obtain more information from the chairman or secretary of thee FCA or leader of
user groups
5. The bids, with all the
information requested, shall be delivered to the leader of the FCA on or before

- 30% of the total cost will

Baseline Information
The FUGs concerned under Ezza
North L. G. A. FCAs are vulnerable group comprising of men, women and youths
full of Zealand enterprising. All involved in
agro-processing.
Constraints/ Opportunities to be addressed by ASA.
After meeting the FCA
officials and FUGs concerns it was realized that the member has no knowledge on
the practices in poultry management and nutrition under PAA hence some had to
employ the service of other competent persons which tend to increase the cost
of production for the FUGs.
