ABSTRACT
This
study focused on the impact of entrepreneurial growth in Ebonyi State with
special interest to the selected entrepreneurs in Afikpo and its environs.
Entrepreneurial growth is the greatest employer of labour at lowest cost. The
objective of this study is to establish the fact that entrepreneurial
development is of essence on the well-being of the people. The review of
related literature brought to limelight the impact of entrepreneurial activities
on the economy. The survey method was adopted and data collected were presented
in percentage form and chi-square test
method was used in the analysis of data
collected and testing of hypothesis. It was however found that entrepreneurial
development and its economic activities have improved the standard of living of
the people. To this end, the researcher hereby recommended that
entrepreneurship as a concept should be taught in various universities as a way
of encouraging self-employment to the graduating students.
