Strike slip fault at a complex vein and vein let migmatitic gneiss Agbonju hill


The location is located along Akwanga – Wamba road and the outcrops is called Agbonju hill. It is an outcrop that summarizes all the basement complexes. The components of these units are gneiss, migmatite, granite gneiss, aplite and pegmatite.


        Quartz–feldspar which occurs as veinlet/veins and basaltic dyke are seen here. Others are faults, folds, joints, and foliation. The mineral compositions are felsic minerals, like quartz, feldspar and mafic minerals like biotite.
