The writer recommends further studies into the cause of pre-eclampsia as the major cause of pre-eclampsia according to some schools of thought  is still unknown and also more studies should be done on the best treatment regimen to be used in the care of a pre-eclamptic patient. And also proper awareness should be created especially in the rural areas on the signs and symptoms of pre-eclampsia in pregnancy.
