Review of a Short Film of Not More Than Fourth Minutes
It was a comedy
(1) Title of the film is Police Officer
(2) Type of film is comedy
(3) Time of the film 42 minutes
The film started by showing a police
officer (Nkem Owoh) who is not only interested in his job but also good at
collecting bribe from people. He was caught by the commissioner of police
Amaechi Muonagor who gave him (Nkem Owoh) the police men a sack letter. Nkem
Owoh the police man packed to the village and opened a police office in his
village. He accused everybody of not having particulars of anything on them.
He actually made money out of it all
but finally lost it to a lady that claimed was from abroad and had some dollars
with her, she said she wanted to change her dollars to naira but when the
police man asked her the American (Felicia Obueze) to follow him to his house
so that he will charge and see her out to where she will change her dollars.
The Americana stole the money that Nkem owoh made while he was a fake police
officer and left with it.
However he was arrested because of
his crime (fake) police. His wife and children were left to suffer because there was no food to eat or money to
pay school fees nor pay house rent.
CHARACTERS
The characters Nkem Owoh (Lucas) he acted very well
especially when he convinced the elders not to write to the head of police to
open a division in the village. He knew his submitting of the letter would
implicate him so he convinced them not to try any of such /writing to police
head quarters for a division
Another part was when he used his
house in the village to form a police station and his little brother Emeka really
tried as the A.P.O of the Station.
Mistakes
Lucas was a police officer that
could not recognize the commissioner of police. Can you imagine that? How can
the commissioner of police not be known by three police on duty.
Another mistake was when Lucas (Nkem
Owoh) brought that Americana lady home, he took her to a well painted room. But
at the end of the film He was seen sleeping in an unpainted room, which means
the forget that they have used a painted room before

Lucas
acted very well as a police officer. He really showed what the Nigerian police
is all about. He also exposed the bad image of Nigerian Police force.
Emeka:
Lucas brother who acted as the A.P.O did very well. His dressing was nice the
customer tried in providing nice dress for the boy.
Americana
(Felicia Obueze): She was really ok on her dress and spoke really well as
somebody from who is really from abroad. Hair, English, walking step, look were
all ok
