Project Information
9. Purpose of the project
·
It’s availability
will be a source of drinking water to the village members.
·
The village
members will stop suffering from related water borne diseases like Guinea worm,
etc.
·
Source of
drinking water will be very close to the members of the village.
·
Water will be
available for their domestic use.
·
They will stop
drinking from rivers and streams.
10. Briefly describe
The project is a hard pump
water boreholes (2nos)
The
project will be managed by a constituted committee under the supervision of a
village leader which a member of community CPMC shall be the overall head.
The
project will get technical advice or assistance it may require from the General
Manager Ebonyi Community & Social Development Agency (EB-CSDA)
11. The social and economic benefits of this
project to the community are thus:-

It will save the
village members the money being spent in the hospital as a result of drinking
contaminated water from streams
·
It will save time
spent as a result of traveling long distance in search of drinking water.
·
Water will be available
for domestic works.

benefit from this project
