HOW TO WRITE A REQUEST FOR TRANSFER OF BANK ACCOUNT (EXAMPLE)

Some people may want to write a letter to their bank to transfer their account names or account numbers to or from a particular account to another but don’t know how to start or end the letter. Here is a practical example of how to write the letter. Please note that this example would guarantee that your bank will reply you, it’s just written to give a clue or help to any intended writer.

It is advised to use you company letter headed paper which already carries your address but for personal accounts, it’s advised that you address be written in the right or left hand side depending on the format of
writing.

The body of the letter should be very short and direct to the point instead of biting around the bush. Make the conclusion clear. Sign and write the name of the cashier or manager.

Here comes the example;

23rd June, 2013
